Shivam Now Eyes Regional Glory In FIM CAC Season Closer

With an apparently insatiable hunger for success, MX1 series leader and current Champion Shivam Vinayak believes the final round of the FIM Central Africa Championship in Nairobi this December will not only be his most crucial race this season but  "mother of all battles".
Three  straight wins will make Shivam both the 2012 MX1 National and East African Champion.  
The competitive senior class has attracted battle-hardened Ugandans like Maxime Van Pee, Arthur Blick jnr, Israeli-born Asaf Natan and Kenya's Louis Dirnboeck.

Golfer Stuart Cohen Set To Make Motor Sport Debut

Top Kenyan professional golfer Stuart Cohen has announced his eagerly-awaited debut in motor racing and expressed optimism that he will be able to balance his long-cherished hobby with golfing.  
"I live in the golf course but motorsport is one sport that I have a strong passion for. I have all along been yearning to make a maiden appearance in the sport," said Cohen during his visit to the Kenya Motor Sports Federation secretariat at Nairobi's Riverside Drive (Chiromo) Monday. 
Cohen will navigate veteran rally driver Adin Haq “Papps” during the fifth and final round of the Kenya National Cross Country Rally Raid slated for the weekend of November 3-4. 

Close Fought Motocross Racing For Sunday At Jamhuri Park

October sunshine heralds prospects for close fought motocross racing on Sunday from 10.00 am at the demanding Jamhuri Park circuit in Nairobi this Sunday. 

Spectators will watch riders tackling tricky conditions with jumps and corners set to treat spectators to some exhilarating displays.

The highlight of the 7th and penultimate round of the Kenya National Motocross Championship series will be the tussle for the title in the MX 1 class which is led by high flying Shivam Vinayak. He has a narrow 29 point lead from hard charging Loius Dirnboeck as a result of skipping the last event at Solai track in Nakuru.
