The Company has offered its GPRS vehicle management service for use during the weekend action to be flagged of by Internal Security Minister Profession George Saitoti at KCB Ongata Rongai Branch on Sunday. A total of 38 cars have enlisted with nine expected to take part in the 2WD class. Clerk of the course, Kulwinder Sandu said the route is 80 percent smooth and 20percent rough. Sandu said competitive run is 201km with a liaison distance of 154km. KNRC leader Carl Tundo hopes to make up for his two successive retirements in Nanyuki and Nakuru. The event will determine the destiny of the championship and drivers cannot afford any slip ups. Tundo still leads the Kenya National Rally Championship series with 280 points with Lee Rose lying second on 235points. Notable absentees at this event are the Horsey siblings-Peter and Alex. The Horseys are in Rwanda preparing for next weekend’s Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally in Kigali.
