Nish Lakhani also caused a major upset when he stunned defending Champion Sammy Jessel to clinch the cars category. Lakhani completed 4laps in 4:48:16 in his while Jessel did three laps in a time of 3h14m43s.

Simon Sharpe finished 11th overall (3laps-3h45m08s) but won the buggy class in the long run. Legendary rally driver, Ian Duncan preferred to race buggies and came home 14th overall and second behind Sharpe. Duncan completed three laps in 3h50m54s. Duncan is currently the best all-rounder in Kenya racing competitively in rallying, autocross, cross-country, enduro and motocross.

The event was organized by Rallye Sports Club. The next Cross-Country Rally Challenge will be organized by Rift Valley Motor Sports Club (KMSF) on August 22.

The Cross-country Commission of KMSF took the opportunity to congratulate all who made the effort to participate in the Narok event.
