Jan 18 2WD Contenders for KNRC Events 2013

This is to highlight the issue of HANS Device for the 2013 rally season.

The 2013 NCR’s are very clear and state ‘HANS Devices’ are compulsary from January 2013 for all Competitors in KNRC, 2WD, Classic Car Cup and Group S/SPV Championships events.

To refresh all, in 2011, a notice was sent to all 2WD Contenders that HANS Devices will be made compulsory from 2012.  A few Competitors complained that they had not had enough notice and time to purchase the devices from overseas.  The Rallies Commission deliberated this issue and decided to let the 2WD Contenders use simple Neck Braces for 2012.  The Rallies Commission made it very clear that it would be Mandatory for 2013 to have HANS devices.

Enough time and warnings have been given to all to organize to get the devise for the 2013 season.  The Rallies Commission now has no intention to change or relax this rule and it will stand as quoted in the 2013 National Competition Rules (NCR’s).
