Ken Anunda who raced in the MX1 last season joined MX2 exhilarated with his podium finish.

“Its a really good start,” Anunda said of his 3rd position. Newcomer Allan Waithaka came home 4th at MX2 with 35 points while Salim Walimohammed was fifth on 33 points.

Newcomer Mario Reys from West Indies struggled to come to grips with the hard compact Jamhuri Park ground taking the tail-end-Charlie on 25points.

The reigning 50cc Champion Murigu Njiiri graduated to the MX65 class but had his campaign stymied when fell off his KTM bike in the second heat.

David Murigi who was voted the most improved motocross personality during the recent KMSF Annual Awards registered his second career 50cc win incidentally in the absence of outgoing champion Murigu. Shivam Vinayak continued with his winning ways at MX 1 beating reigning Enduro champion Harry Guelker to second. Shivam rode a powerful Yamaha 450cc four-stroke machined he has been development over the Christmas vacation.
